The invention relates to organic synthesis, more specifically to a method for producing dihydroxybenzenes by catalytic oxidation of phenol with the aid of nitrogen monoxide in the presence of benzene. The reaction is carried out in a flow reactor using zeolite catalysts at a temperature ranging from 250 to 600 °C for a contact time of 0.1-10 sec. Said method makes it possible to significantly increase the stability of the catalyst and improve the selectivity of conversion of the nitrogen monoxide into partial oxidation products.
|
