The wheelchair frame has a backrest frame with 2 rigid side struts (2,3) to which a pair of seat support struts (4,5) are pivoted at an intermediate point and to the bottom end of which a longitudinal frame is attached, with an intermediate frame (7) coupled between the seat support struts and the longitudinal frame via respective pivot connections. The longitudinal frame has a rear cross strut (8) with rear wheel bearings at either end, connected via a central longitudinal strut (10) to a front cross strut (9) fitted with removable front wheels (13). |
