<p>Disclosed herein is dietary supplement comprising natural ingredients such as glucosamine, and derivatives of such natural ingredients, in combination with a acetaminophen or a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This combination is useful in the provision of immediate relief and abatement of the symptoms associated with arthritis and similar disorders and injuries which are manifest by swelling and inflammation of joints, and the connective tissues within the joints. The presence if acetaminophen or a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in the composition is believed to increase the systemic levels of the glucosamine in the blood and thereby insure the adequacy of glucosamine to promote the formation of cartilage. The composition may further include, as optional ingredients, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, magnesium, and other naturally occurring substances.</p> |
