The ion-exchange bed is provided with a medium such as a resin which is able to absorb a disinfectant and to release this gradually into the aq. medium. The cation exchanger is pref. a sulphonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer with a surface area of 50-500m2/g dry matter. The disinfectant-releasing medium is regnerable. |
