<p>Abattoir conveyor for supporting carcases e.g. of rabbits, comprises the usual hook, a horizontal protection bar situated above the hook and in the same plane and extending in front of the point of the hook and a metal rod of similar shape to the hook but having a recurved point, the rod being in a plane parallel to that of the hook and at a distance from the hook so that it is possible to engage and immobilise the leg of an animal between the rod and the hook.</p> |
