<p>An electro-static field is created between the object to be coated and a rotating spray. The spray comprises a wheel with short radial blades, fixed around the circumference, which are sharpened to a knife edge. There is a co-axial air intake and powder feed, the air and the powder converging to the hub of the wheel where a baffle is fixed. The powder is fed in through the hollow axle of the wheel.</p> |
