A dispenser for strip material, e.g. tape, wire, cable etc.. has a reel (1) fitted onto an axle (2) which profiled ends (2a) protruding out of the reel to clip onto two parallel side sections (3) of a support frame (13). The axle ends locate into slots (4) in the top edges of the side sections. The rear of the support frame has hook profiles (7) which clip the frame onto a wall mounted support rail, e.g. inside a service vehicle or in a workshop. The front (12) of the frame has a hole (11) through which the material can be pulled in wire/cable format.
