Production of anhydrous sodium sulfate comprises preparing a sodium sulfate solution, salting-out anhydrous sodium sulfate with a mixture of sodium chloride and sodium sulfate at a temperature above 17.8degreesC, separating the sodium sulfate and recycling the mother liquor to the salting-out step.
