<p>A shoulder adjuster (10) comprising an adjust base (1) being secured to the car body, a slide base (2) being fixed to the adjust base (1), and a garnish (3) sliding integrally with the slide base (2), in the adjust base (1) comprising a sidewall part (11) formed by bending the opposite fringe parts in the widthwise direction substantially perpendicularly to a flat plane (13) on the side fixing to the car body, and an engaging part (12) formed by bending the forward end of the sidewall part (11) inward, characterized in that the engaging part (12) and the sidewall part (11) define an acute-angle corner part, and the slide base (2) is inserted slidably into a sliding part defined by the sidewall part (11), the engaging part (12) and the flat plane (13). Excellent shock absorbing properties are provided and deterioration in performance due to deformation is prevented, thereby providing a shoulder adjuster excellent in safety.</p> |
