A method of engaging a seal assembly (10) with a wall (11) surrounding an aperture in a vessel comprising the steps of: a) providing an aperture in an outer wall of the vessel; b) providing a seal assembly, the seal assembly comprising a connector body (14), the body having a first end (15) which has a lip (16), a second end (17) and a bore (20) surrounded by a connector wall (38) extending along the length of the connector body theretbetween, the connector wall comprising a deformable portion (19); c) inserting the connector body into the aperture such that the lip abuts the outer wall; d) compressing the connector body along its length causing the deformable portion to deform outwardly away from the bore, gripping the outer wall between the lip and deformable portion so forming a seal.
