PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container which is resistant to the ejection or oozing of a liquid when an inner plug is removed and also resistant to the spilling of the liquid in a container body even if the container is accidentally pushed down or tilted after the inner plug is removed. SOLUTION: The liquid storage container 100 includes the container body 101 for receiving the liquid, a holder 102 fixed to the neck opening of the body 101 and a felt wick 103 held in the holder 102. An air hole 106 is provided only on the side of one sidewall of the holder 102, and a liquid returning groove 107 communicating with the inside of the body 101 is formed in the vicinity of the air hole 106.
