PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a progressive suspension device improved for a rear wheel of a motorcycle, which is applied to a fork having either one or two arms, easily controlled in view of kinematic ratio of force to wheel, and easily adapted to the structural allowance of the motorcycle to which the device is fitted. SOLUTION: In this suspension device, a connecting rod 19 has a first end part 20 and a second end part 22. The first end part is revolved on an intermediate point 21 between a first end part 16 and a second end part 18 of a lever 15.
