PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader constituted of an off-axial reflection mirror, and realizing higher performance and the moderation of figure tolerance. SOLUTION: In the image reader having an image-formation optical device consisting of a plurality of off-axial reflection surfaces, at least one of the off-axial reflection surfaces is turnably attached to a lens barrel.
