PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treating device for an image forming device having a simple mechanism and managing well with a higher operating speed. SOLUTION: The sheet post-treating device is equipped with a sheet grasping means 403 to grasp the head of a sheet S, a circulating means 402 to hold the sheet grasping means, a head stopper 408 installed on the circulation path in such a way as advancing and retreating, a sheet placing table 406 located under the circulation path of the grasping means, a post-treating apparatus 410 installed at one end of the placing table, a sheet delivery pawl 420 to deliver the sheets placed on the table, and circulating means 417 for sheet delivery carrying the pawl and revolving. When abutting to the stopper 408, the grasping means 403 grasping the sheet S releases the sheet, which is dropped onto the table 406. Then the sheet is fed to the predetermined position on the post- treating apparatus 410 and undergoes a post-treatment. Because the surface whereto the sheet is fed is different from the surface where the post-treatment and sheet delivery are made, the post-treating apparatus 410 can be fixed to allow establishment of a higher operating speed.
