<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which a full color image exhibiting a good light transmittance and a good color reproducibility of transmitted light from a low density region to a high density region can be formed on a transparent film by a convenient method. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus forming a multicolor image comprises a means for acquiring the type information of a recording medium on which a multicolor image is formed, a means 41 for storing color conversion parameters defining a color conversion image processing of image data for each type of recording medium, a means 26 performing color conversion processing of the image data based on the color conversion parameters, and a control means 40 for receiving the type information from the recording medium acquiring means and setting color conversion parameters corresponding to the type information stored in the storage means 41 in the color conversion image processing means 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
