PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket which secures the high reliability of strength of a joint relative to with a side rail and achieve considerably light weight at the same time. SOLUTION: The upper end of the bracket 21 is attached to the outer surface of each side rail 1 forming a chassis frame of a vehicle. The bracket 21 extends in the lower direction and a lower rod is supported at its lower end. Bosses 16, 17 for fastening bolts are vertically arranged at the upper end attached to the outer surface of each side rail 1 and a region A is formed between a row group of the upper side boss 16 and a row group of the lower side boss 17 so that the region A is inclined gradually extending outside in the vehicle- width direction as it goes downward. A rib 22 with an appropriate number of columns extending in the vertical direction is formed on the inner surface in the vehicle-width direction of the inclined region A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
