PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide on-vehicle electric equipment which forcibly emits a beep which is required to be heard by a user even in the case that setting of emission of the beep to be emitted at the time of device operation is released. SOLUTION: When the emission of a beep is requested, the beep is emitted from a speaker 4. When a switch SW1 is turned off by a beep setting release control means 7 for releasing setting of emission of the beep, the beep is not emitted. A beep emission request is supplied to a beep emission means 6, and a specific beep emission request is supplied to a beep forcible emission means 8. Though setting of beep emission is released, a specific beep is forcibly emitted because the specific beep is outputted to the speaker 4 from the beep forcible emission means 8 through an IR circuit OR1. Specific beep emission includes beep emission performed at the time of detecting occurrence of a prescribed event related to operation in a device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
