PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make such a control, performable that suppresses the occurrence of an interference sound and makes it hard to cause a flicker, etc., at the circumference as to an induction heating type fixing device incorporated in an image forming apparatus using toner. SOLUTION: This fixing device 1 has a 1st thermistor 6a and a 2nd thermistor 6b which detect temperatures at specified positions in the length direction of a roller 2, a 1st coil 11a and a 2nd coil 11b which can raise the temperature of the center and end parts of a heat roller independently, a driving circuit 33 which supplies electric power to the respective coils by turns, a 1st switching circuit 32a and a 2nd switching circuit 32b which supply specified electric power to the individual coils, a CPU 34, and a temperature detecting circuit 35. The CPU 34 controls the electric power supplied to the individual coils together with a main CPU 151 of the image forming device according to the output of the temperature detecting circuit.
