SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR DEVELOPING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material exhibiting excellent sensitivity and maximum density and also excellent dot quality even when rapidly developed under low replenishment and to provide a method for developing the same. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material, the molar proportion of AgCl of silver halide grains in a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is≥50% and the silver halide grains contain Ir and at least one element selected from Rh, Re, Ru and Os and further contain a thiosulfonic acid compound represented by the formula R21-SO2S-M21and at least one compound selected from the compounds represented by the formula Z-SM and formulae [2] and [3].
