PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary air supplying device for an internal combustion engine which stabilizes a secondary air fuel ratio even when the rotational speed of an air pump is not controlled. SOLUTION: The secondary air supplying device 20 for the internal combustion engine 1 comprises: the air pump 21; a secondary air passage 22 for introducing the secondary air discharged from the pump 21 to the upstream side from the catalyst 7 of the exhaust passage 6 of the engine 1; and an ECU 12 for controlling to switch the start and the stop of the secondary air, and increasing the supply amount of a fuel to the engine 1 at the secondary air supply time. In this device 20, the increased value of supplying the fuel in association with the supply of the secondary air is regulated by the ECU 12 in response to the change of the quantity of an intake air of the engine.
