PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out checking of operations of an electronic blackboard apparatus and reduce shipment of defective items. SOLUTION: In order to start an operation checking mode, after an operation checking mode switch is put into an on-state, a power-on key of an operation part is put into an on-state. Thereupon, it is determined whether or not the operation checking mode switch is in the on-state (S1); when the operation checking mode switch is in the on-state, an operation checking mode flag is put into an on-state (S2); after initialization in S3, an operation part inspection (S4) is carried out; an LED lighting inspection is carried out in S4a; and an operation key inspection is carried out in S4b. After that, an apparatus inspection (S5) is carried out; a read density inspection is carried out in S5a; and an added copy sheet return inspection is carried out in S5b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
