PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a center cluster fixed to the central part of an instrument panel and further increase absorbing capability for absorbing impact energy. SOLUTION: A center cluster 20 arranged at the central part of an instrument panel A of a vehicle in a vehicle width direction and having a plurality of functional element fixing units 22, 23 and 24 arranged and formed at an upper part and a lower part is fixed at rear sides of a pair of fixing brackets 10 fixed at the instrument panel at both right and left sides in the front side of its advancing direction. Front edges of both right and left ends of a reinforcing bracket 30 having both ends fixed at the rear side of a lateral beam 25 formed between the functional element fixing units and extending forwardly in a substantial horizontal direction and rear edges of the fixing brackets are oppositely faced to each other with a slight clearance (a) left in a forward or rearward direction. It is preferable that a recess 11 is formed at a position corresponding to the reinforcing bracket at the rear edge of each of the fixing brackets and the clearance (a) is formed between the bottom edge of the recess and the front edge of the reinforcing bracket.
