PURPOSE: A remote control system using a remote controller is provided to control electronic products in another space by solving the control range limit of the remote controller. CONSTITUTION: An optical receiving unit(10) receives an optical signal from a random remote controller(R). A signal converter(20) senses the optical signal received in the optical receiving unit(10), and converts the sensed optical signal into intrinsic frequency signal data of an electronic product(E). A data transmitting and receiving unit(30) transmits the frequency signal data generated in the signal converter(20) to a wire. A data receiving unit(40) synchronizes and detects the transmitted frequency signal data. An inverse signal converter(50) converts the detected frequency signal data into an optical signal. An optical transmitting unit(60) transmits the optical signal converted in the inverse signal converter(50) for controlling the electronic product(E).
