<p>A layer of fibres, part. metal fibres or thermoplastic fibres, is welded or soldered on to the surface of the steel carrier to form a matting, fleece or fabric. This is impregnated and filled with plastic to form a layer or intermediate layer which forms a firm bond with the carrier material and the fibres. Pref. the metal or thermoplastic fibres are interlinked with glass fibres.</p> |
