<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller having excellent flexibility and wear resistance and a paper sheet delivery device having the roller, thereby restraining a jam and bring-out transport of a paper sheet due to rigidity of the paper sheet, and enlarging the range of thickness and rigidity of the paper sheet allowing delivery. <P>SOLUTION: This roller includes a shaft part, a peripheral part formed round the shaft part by an elastic body, and a plurality of spiral ribs connecting the shaft part and the peripheral part and formed by the elastic body.
