<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank cap which can be attached and removed without troubles and shows an excellent seal effect. <P>SOLUTION: The tank cap comprises a mating seal member 1 fitted and hooked in an inner circumference of a pouring inlet 3 of a tank main body 2, a cap main body 10 having a margin portion 11 receiving the mating seal member 11 and covering the outer circumference of the pouring inlet 3, a plurality of vertical punched portions 13 arranged in the outer circumference of the pouring inlet 3 at the margin 11 to receive a plurality of protrusion portions 12 and a horizontal punching portion 14 in continuation with the vertical punched portions 13 and fixed to the pouring inlet 3 by being fitted in and rotated in the pouring inlet 3, and a cam lever 16 mounted on the cap main body 10 to push mating seal member 1 to the inner circumferential surface 4 of the pouring inlet 3 wherein the fitting portion 9 of a cam 17 formed in the cam lever 16 is preferably formed on the upper surface of the mating seal member 1 and further a locking portion 19 is formed to stop on the side of the tank main body 2 when the cam lever 16 falls in the tip of the cam lever 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
