<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new ordered polyurethane-urea having the arrangement structure of its nonlinear optical component controlled for obtaining a greater nonlinear optical effect. <P>SOLUTION: The polyurethane-urea polymer contains diisocyanate structural units represented by formula (1), diamine structural units represented by formula (2), diol structural units represented by formula (3), and structural units represented by formula (I), wherein the numbers of those structural units respectively are k, l, m and x, satisfying the inequality: 0.7≤4x/(k+l+m)≤1.
