PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which it is easily possible to judge whether characters and symbols are displayed corresponding to which screen while divided screen display is conducted. SOLUTION: A character display control section 2 grasps screen dividing condition from a screen partition setting signal outputted from an operating section 5 by operating a screen dividing switch 5A of the section 5 and controls the display position and the font size of the characters and the symbols to be displayed on a display 7, so that the display location and the font size are changed linked with the screen divided display.
