PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lower rail structure of a sliding door in which the traveling trace of a revolution body runner section is not left at a contact between the revolution body runner section and the inclined plane of a rail and the runner section is slid up on a projecting section again even when the runner section is derailed from the projecting section in the case of an L-shaped traveling. SOLUTION: In the lower rail 2 structure of the sliding door, support-shaft guide sections 4 introduced into the grooves 3 of lower rails 2 and the revolution body runner sections 5 placed on the top faces of the lower rails 2 as being placed at the upper sections of the guide sections 4 are installed at the lower end of the sliding door slid and moved and opened and closed along the rails while projecting sections 6, on which the runner sections 5 are placed, are formed to the top faces of the lower rails 2, inclined planes 8 are formed towards the grooves 3 of the lower rails 2 from the projecting sections 6. When the rails are formed in an L shape, the runner sections 5 can be moved smoothly to a change in the direction of 90°because the runner sections 5 are placed on the inclined planes 8 even when the runner sections are slipped off from the projecting sections 6 at a corner section.
