PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint capable of safely shielding a groove between a vibration isolation structure and a non vibration isolation structure and effectively using an installation area and an expansion joint provided with a door structure capable of absorbing a relative change between the vibration isolation structure and a non vibration isolation structure and imparting a good finishing state to even children. SOLUTION: The vibration isolation expansion joint is installed between a vibration isolation structure installed on a vibration isolation foundation structure and a non vibration isolation structure installed on a non vibration isolation foundation structure. The clearance between a vibration isolation structure provided with at least a plurality of plane parts rotatably fixed against a non vibration isolation structure and the non vibration isolation structure is shielded.
