PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue the operation of an escalator mechanism, even if a microcomputer temporarily becomes a stopping state. SOLUTION: When system power supply voltage is not outputted from a system power source device 3, the non-output is stored by a power supply detecting device 4. Subsequently, when the microcomputer is started, whether or not loss of system power supply voltage is stored in the power source detecting device 4 is checked by an operation control device 6. When the loss of the system power supply voltage is stored, the control of the escalator mechanism 2 is restarted after initializing a system. When the loss of system power supply voltage is not stored, the state is decided as a normal starting or the starting of the microcomputer caused by a temporary stopping of the microcomputer to continue the control of the escalator mechanism 2 by control contents up to the previous time.
