PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior packing device for a passenger conveyor having a structure easy for mounting work with improved workability at a job site. SOLUTION: A bolt fixing groove 14 is provided in a structure such as a panel receiver 8, etc. A head part 13a of a bolt 13 is inserted into the bolt fixing groove 14. A shaft part 13b of the bolt 13 projecting from the bolt fixing groove 14 to the outside of the panel receiver 8 is inserted into a bolt insertion hole provided on an outer packing plate supporting member 11, a nut 16 is screwed onto the shaft part 13b, and the outer packing plate supporting member 11 is fixed to the panel receiver 8 by fastening the bolt 13 and the nut 16.
