PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching installation having simple construction and allowing smooth transmission of driving force and easy handling of small carried materials with a plurality of rollers on a rotor. SOLUTION: The branching installation 9 serves for branching carried materials W on a carrying passage 2. In the carrying passage 2, there is provided a rotor 1 connected in linkage to a direction changing device 30. In the rotor 12, there are arranged a group of rollers 20, 21 forming a carrying plane 24 to which a rotation driving device 40 is connected in linkage with its driving shaft 41 arranged on the side of a machine frame 10. One endless turning body 45 is wound over a range from a driving wheel 44 on the side of the driving shaft 41 to the group of rollers 20, 21. By using the direction changing device 30 for rotating a disc 12, the group of rollers 20, 21 are inclined to the direction of the carrying passage 2 in such a state as being directed to the branch side and the carried materials W are carried and branched while being changed in direction with the driving and carrying force of the group of rollers 20, 21.
