PURPOSE: A seal pattern for a liquid crystal display and a method for manufacturing liquid crystal display using the same are provided to prevent an uncured area from generating due to a seal pattern when an epoxy molding compound is cured by applying ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate(120) and a lower substrate(110) opposite to each other are bonded with each other. To fill liquid crystal(115) between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, a trapezoid injection port(D) of a seal pattern(118) is formed on any one of the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and has an entrance which becomes narrower as it goes inside. A rim of the seal pattern is formed following an edge of the substrate starting from the injection port. The injection port is sealed by an epoxy molding compound(122).
