PURPOSE: A method for controlling driving of a stepping motor for air-conditioning of a vehicle is provided to secure driving torque to allow desired control of opening degree of a door even at low voltage by changing driving RPM if the torque driving the door driven by the stepping motor drops down under critical value as driving voltage of the stepping motor drops down under reference voltage. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the steps of: a first step(S102,S104) initializing driving RPM of a stepping motor to preset driving RPM of the stepping motor when an air-conditioning system for a vehicle is impressed with power; a second step(S106) detecting voltage impressed to the stepping motor; a third step(S108) determining whether the voltage impressed to the stepping motor is enough to normally drive the stepping motor; a fourth step(S112) calculating optimum RPM of the stepping motor corresponding with the voltage impressed to the stepping motor if the voltage impressed to the stepping motor is under lowermost voltage needed for normal driving of the stepping motor; and a fifth step(S114,S116) resetting driving RPM of the stepping motor depending on the calculation of the optimum driving RPM, and controlling the stepping motor at the reset driving RPM.
