<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a turmeric product effectively exhibiting various effects while investigating unknown effects in spring and autumn turmerics and also a method for extracting the turmeric components. <P>SOLUTION: This method for extracting the spring or autumn turmeric comprises a process of mixing an extract obtained by extracting dried spring or autumn turmeric with hot water with an extract obtained by extracting the residue of the hot water extract by adding an organic solvent and then removing the organic solvent. Also, the extraction method of the spring turmeric comprises processes of obtaining a distilled extract by using the spring turmeric by a distillation method and also obtaining an extract by extracting the distillation residue with hot water and an extract obtained by re-extracting the hot water-extracted residue with hot water and mixing three of them, is also possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
