PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plasma display device from being activated by malfunction. SOLUTION: The plasma display device is provided with a relay 22 for controlling power source supply to a power source circuit by being arranged between the power source circuit and an AC plug 21, a microcomputer 28 for controlling the relay 22, a main switch 33 for controlling power source supply to the microcomputer 28, a rest circuit 37 for resetting a control means for controlling the main switch by detecting the rising of the power source supply to the computer 28 and an all-OFF signal generating circuit for outputting an all-OFF signal by detecting whether the reset of the reset circuit 37 is caused by the pulling out and the inserting of the AC plug 21 or by ON/OFF of the main switch 33 and the display device is constituted so as to initialize the all- OFF signal of the all-OFF signal generating circuit by the control signal of the main switch 33.
