PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin information display medium which has flexibility, does not require a long time for cutting of the entire circumference and removing of unnecessary portions for exposure of peripheral ends and electrode sections and permits formation of image display layers, etc., of a previous process step and permits the inline processing thereof and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The thin information display medium 2 which has the flexibility, is formed by forming a transparent electrode layer 12a on a base material film 10, annexing peripheral sealing sections 12b, the electrode sections 7 and margin sections 12c thereon, forming the image display layer 14 over the entire surface on the layer 12a, laminating a cover film 16 through an adhesive layer 15, inscribing half cuts HC over the entire periphery down to the layer 14 surface to the shapes to be separated, peeling the peripheral sealing sections, the electrode section at the peripheral ends and the cover film on the margin sections together with the adhesive layer and removing these by a peeling brush under rotation and a method for manufacturing the same.
