PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive imaging means capable of changing an imaging visual field range by changing the magnification of an imaging screen without a zoom lens and to provide an inexpensive flaw inspection device for work capable of performing the quality determination of a work considering the depth of flaw. SOLUTION: A lens 30 having a fixed focus is arranged in the vicinity of an optical fiber connector C, a CCD camera 38 arranged on the opposite side of the optical fiber connector C across the lens 30 is moved in its optical axial direction and focused by the lens 30, whereby the imaging magnification can be changed. Therefore, the inspection can be performed by use of one objective lens without using an expensive zoom lens. In the flaw inspection device 10, a surface of subject is imaged by an imaging means 14, and a flaw part is extracted from the image data. The average brightness of the flaw part and the average brightness of the circumference of the flaw part are calculated, and when the brightness difference between the both exceeds a preset reference brightness difference, it is recognized as a flaw.
