PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector capable of simultaneously detecting fluorescent signals generated from a plurality of specimens while simultaneously controlling the temperatures of the specimens with a minimized noise. SOLUTION: This fluorescence detector comprises a light shielding casing, a support body provided within the casing and having a plurality of holes for holding a container for storing a sample, a light source for emitting light to one opening part of the hole of the support body, a detection system for detecting the fluorescence excited by the light emitted from the light source and generated from the other opening part, and a temperature adjusting system for adjusting the temperature of the casing held by the support body.
