PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a jet fan capable of high-efficiently ventilating in the normal and reverse directions. SOLUTION: The ventilator consists of a plurality of moving blades and the hub fixing the moving blades, a casing forming a flow path by surrounding the moving blades and a motor installed in the casing, a frame fixing the motor and a frame support stay, an inner cylinder forming a flow path along with the casing, and the support stay. In the jet fan enabling the ventilation in the normal and reverse directions by changing the rotation direction of the motor, the frame fixing the motor is made into the curved surface which is concave at the motor side, and the fixing part of the motor is provided in the concave. The curvature radius of the motor frame is made smaller than the radius of the hub fixing the moving blade. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
