PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an intrusion of a part and a foreign matter into a crank case at the time of exchange of a shim between a fuel injection pump and a mounting part of the crank case, to reduce the fuel injection pump in weight, and to easily carry out a work such as the exchange of the shim or the like. SOLUTION: The driving transmission device 11 is provided with a guide case 14 in which a mounting flange (mounting part) 13 is provided on an upper part of a body part 12; a roller guide 16 vertically movably inserted to a guide shaft hole 15 provided on the guide case 14, having a roller 19 and urged by a return spring 23; and a push rod 17 connected to an upper end of the roller guide 16. The device 11 is fixed to a pump mounting part 4a of the crank case 4. The fuel injection pump 1A is mounted to an upper surface of the mounting flange 13 through the shim 26. The push rod 17 is vertically moved by an action of the cam 24 and the return spring 23 through the roller 19 and the roller guide 16 to drive the plunger 3 of the fuel injection pump 1A.
