PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket structure for a shutter, which facilitates assembly of brackets and a take-up shaft, minimizes the lateral width of a casing, and therefore saves the space of the structure. SOLUTION: According to the structure, faces of the right and left brackets 1 formed of a metallic plate, are stamped at a plurality of locations and bent in mutually facing directions, to thereby integrally form engaging claw portions 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e on both the brackets. Then, guide brackets 10, 11 arranged on both edges of the take-up shaft 9 are slidably fitted onto the engaging claws 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e on both the brackets, to thereby install the take-up shaft 9 on the brackets 1.
