PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly trunk room which reduces the vexatious complication of work for carrying in and carrying out things, has excellent safety, and is appropriate for the owner of a vacant room. SOLUTION: The trunk room, which is an office room 2 or a storage 3 of an existing apartment house 1, is constituted by forming a storage space for inhabitants of the apartment house 1 in the office room 2 and the storage 3. In terms of the existing apartment houses 1, the vacant office room 2 or the storage 3 with a vacant space is extracted and remodeled so as to be usable as the trunk room, and the inhabitants of the apartment house 1 with the office room 2 or the storage 3, who utilize the remodeled trunk room, are collected so that costs for remodeling the office room 2 or the storage 3 into the trunk room can be reduced and so that persons providing the vacant rooms and the inhabitants utilizing the trunk room can be efficiently collected.
