PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing concentrated fine particles of gold, more easily without requiring a special apparatus, heating or the like. SOLUTION: In a process for manufacturing the concentrated fine particles of gold protected with protective colloids, by adding a reducing agent solution to a gold compound solution, and subsequently adding an organic solvent which disperses the protective colloids therein, this manufacturing method is characterized by adjusting an adding rate of the reducing agent so as to make the formed fine particles of gold 1 stay between the organic phase 2 and the water phase 3.
