PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure smooth rotating operation of a paper discharge driven roller and to obtain a paper discharge driven roller at a low cost, always stably taking a vertical attitude to the printing surface. SOLUTION: This paper discharge driven roller 29b is composed of a wheel part 35 and two serrated toothed rollers 36a and 36b. The wheel part 35 is formed of resin material, and the paper discharge driven roller 29b is so constructed that the wheel part 35 and the serrated toothed rollers 36a, 36b are integrally formed to be rotated in a body. The paper discharge driven roller 29b can be made self-standing to the printing surface by providing the serrated toothed rollers 36a, 36b at a space in the axial direction of rotation, whereby the teeth 37a and 37b will not obliquely enter the printing surface and lowering of print quality due to scooping of the print surface can be prevented.
