Laboratory device design particularly for a multiplate format that includes a plate or tray having a plurality of wells, and a drain in fluid communication with each of the plurality of wells. The plate is a one-piece design having a honeycomb structure that brings high rigidity to the plate in order to accept very high centrifugal load.
