PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe handrail having a fall prevention function for a worker capable of simply, easily and safely performing mounting work and being stably and firmly mounted to standards. SOLUTION: The safe handrail mounted to a framework scaffolding built-up in a multistage stage while constructing a scaffolding board between horizontal members 2 and 2 of both frames 4 and 4 is formed of right and left jambs 11 and 12, head and upper and lower rails 13, 14 and middle rails of muntin and cross rail, and it comprises a handrail body 7 placed between pier studs 1 and 1 opposed to both frames 4 and 4, positioning hooks 10 provided at middle parts of the jambs 11 and 12 of the handrail body 7 and hooked on the horizontal members 2 of the frames 4, lower fixed metal fittings 8 provided to the lower ends of the jambs 11 and 12 of the handrail body 7 and fixed to the upper part sides of the pier struts 1 of the frames 4 of the handrail body 7 and upper fixed metal fittings 9 fixing the handrail body 7 to the lower part sides of the pier struts 1 of the frames 4 on the upper stage sides.
