PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal fittings capable of surely preventing the lack of tongues and grooves in case of an earthquake or the like and a mounting structure of building materials making use of the metal fittings. SOLUTION: The metal fittings 1 include a base section 2 overlapped on the side of a column 70, a first interlocking section 10 connected to the base section 2 and second interlocking sections 20 and 30. The grooves 62 and 62 of the lower sides of the building materials 60L (right) and 66 are interlocked with second interlocking sections (upper stage interlocking sections) 20 and 30 of a metal fitting 1a, and the second interlocking sections (lower stage interlocking sections) 20 and 30 of a metal fitting 1b are engaged with the tongues 61 and 61 of the upper sides of the building materials 60L and 66. Each groove 62 of an L-shaped building material 60L (left) is interlocked with the first interlocking section (upper stage interlocking section) 10 of the metal fitting 1b. The first interlocking (lower stage interlocking section) 10 of the metal fitting 1a is interlocked with each tongue 61 of the upper side of the L-shaped building material 60L (left). When relative story displacement occurs in case of an earthquake, elastic pieces 11, 21 and 31 can be deflected forward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
