METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING USER USING E-MAIL ADDRESS AND HARDWARE INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a user using an e-mail address and the hardware information is provided to authenticate the user by using the e-mail address of the user and the hardware information of an authentication client platform, which are verified for the uniqueness, without managing the separate IDs and passwords for each web site. CONSTITUTION: An authentication client module is downloaded from an authentication server module and is installed to the authentication client platform of the user(204). The authentication client module transmits the e-mail address of the user and the hardware information of the authentication client module to the authentication server module(206). The authentication server module decides the authentication of the user by comparing the e-mail address and the hardware information received from the authentication client module with the e-mail address and the hardware information stored in the authentication server module(210).
